THE PEARL NECKLACE
By Crazy Jewlery Queen© 2008
He walked into the room she was there cladly dressed in that red flimsy low cut dress the one he hated. She turned to him with the smeek smile on her face as to say “ who the hell are you to torture me this way” then right there he fired the gun. Bang it went off, repeatedly. How many bullets do you have in that gun? She replied. Not many. I just want to remove her from my life he said. Who do you want to remove me? No “her” who is she? The woman that torments me inside, the woman who comes to see me at night, the one who tells me she loves me then shoots me dead, the one with the Pearl Necklace.

Chapter One
Summer Treats was her stage name. She was the most admirable woman that anyone could have met. However, this was quite different she would visit him in her basement apartment in the lower level of the dark red brownstone building in lower Manhattan. She lived alone, well contrary not alone, she lived there with her two yellow cockatoos and her cat Melly. Melly was a brown, grey, and white calico and was very sly when he would come to visit her master. She would hiss at him; when he walks into the door. Melly would sniff his cigar-smelled outfit and then walk away. What time is it dear? I think it’s something like ten am. You are late for your appointment aren’t you? Appointment? Which one? The one to the doctors? Melly sniffled against his leg as she tried to claw up to his leg and bite him.
I think that this cat really hates me. Nah she does not hate you, she just does not like men in her house. Only females often visit me, not many men come here she told him.
Why is that? Why is what? That only females visit you, do you have a problem with men? No I really do not but I do not see you as a man, I see you as my brother. Your brother who are you kidding missy? Hey Mister I done you one favor, I am not doing you the next one.
Where did you leave her? Leave who? The lady with the necklace, the one who robbed me blindly last week the one who tortures me in my sleep? There was never any woman. It was all a bad dream, of he thought.
